Guy Carpenter & Company has launched its latest version of MetaRisk 8.1.
MetaRisk 8.1 offers a variety of enhancements that improve usability and increase the overall user experience and performance.
Steve White, chief actuary of Guy Carpenter, commented: “With the release of MetaRisk 8.1, Guy Carpenter introduces MetaRisk ModelBuilder to our state of the art capital modelling platform, allowing our clients to quickly and effectively build new models.”
MetaRisk ModelBuilder provides the ability to use tables of operations and parameters created externally to create or update objects in a MetaRisk model.
In addition, MetaRisk 8.1 also features stochastic currency exchange, which gives users the ability to model the effect of changes in currency exchange rates for underwriting results and assets held by the company.
