A.M. Best appoints William Mills

A.M. Best has appointed William Mills as director of market development in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective 2 June.

Mills will be based in the firm’s London office and report to Nick Chateris-Black, managing director of market development in EMEA.

In his new role, he will be responsible for developing the firm’s profile in the major European markets, including the origination of new rating assignments and managing existing clients relationships.

Mills, who has 30 years experience in the reinsurance industry, joins from Standard & Poor’s. He served at the company for 15 years in a commercial role, most recently as director in client business management.
