Montpelier picks Charles Taylor for claims management

Lloyd’s underwriter Montpelier has selected Charles Taylor Insurance Services’s (CTIS) TRAX-TCM claims workflow and diary management system.

The system will fully automate Montpelier’s claims notifications and monitor claims processes, enabling it to reduce costs, increase efficiency and achieve faster claims settlement.

TRAX-TCM is part of Charles Taylor’s Taylored Claims Management (TCM) service, which is a menu-based system that allows insurers to select individual claims services or to completely outsource claims management.

Using TRAX-TCM, Montpelier will not only receive claims notifications on a fully automated basis, in line with their exact processing requirements, but will also be able to identify the type of claim, and the class of business.

It will route a claim instantly to the correct adjuster and then monitor its progress. It is designed to be flexible and adaptable to match clients’ requirements.

Stephen Card, chief executive at Charles Taylor Insurance Services, commented: “I am delighted that Montpelier has chosen TRAX-TCM to further enhance its claims management solution. Montpelier at Lloyd’s is part of a market-leading global specialty insurer with exceptional standards of claims management. TRAX-TCM will allow its claims adjusters to focus more time on high value complex technical claims rather than routine claims management.”
