The new venture, to be based in Buenos Aires, will be headed by Matias Rosales who was formerly general manager of Cooper Gay Argentina. The business will work closely with JLT’s existing operations in Brazil, Chile, Peru and Colombia as well as the rest of JLT’s international network.

Matias Rosales, CEO of JLT Re Argentina, said, “The establishment of JLT Re Argentina will provide clients with a distinctive alternative, enhancing access to international markets, supported by JLT’s experience, scale and specialty skills. I am very confident that the expertise in the local team, combined with the breadth and depth of JLT Group, will allow us to make a strong impact in the local and regional market.”

CEO of Latin America for the JLT Group, Mike Methley, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Matias Rosales and the team to the JLT Group.
