Former FERMA president joins MDS

The former FERMA president, Jorge Luzzi, is the new executive vice president of Herco Global, a risk management company which is part of the insurance broking group MDS Holdings.

Luzzi’s role will focus on enterprise risk management at MDS, focusing on captive management and international operations.

He joins from Pirelli Group Reinsurance in Switzerland, where he worked in various roles for 25 years.

Luzzi is also joining the board of HighDome P.C.C., a protected cell captive company owned by MDS that is based in Malta.

Julia Graham was recently named as Luzzi’s successor at FERMA.
