The Delaware Captive Insurance Association’s (DCIA) 2013 spring forum will be held at Hotel du Pont, Wilmington, Delaware from the 13-14th May.
“Join captive owners, prospective captive owners, regulators and key service providers for the only educational and networking event for the first half of 2013 organised specifically for those interested in doing business in the Delaware captive insurance domicile,” said a statement from the DCIA.
Karen Weldin Stewart, Delaware’s insurance commissioner and Richard Klumpp, president of the DCIA will welcome guests and offer an update on the DCIA.
Stuart Anolik, managing director of CBIZ MHM and Chaz Lavelle, partner at Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP will discuss the latest developments of Dodd Frank/NRRA clarification and whether it should/will apply to captive insurers.
The event will also feature a special ‘open house’ session to educate industry stakeholders about Delaware’s quality and versatility as a potential domicile.
