National Guardian RRG gets rated

Demotech has assigned National Guardian Risk Retention Group the Financial Stability Ratings (FSR) of “A (Exceptional)”.

National Guardian Risk Retention Group was founded in January 1989, after three commercial medical professional liability carriers went bankrupt, on Emergency Consultants, almost in succession, in the mid 1980’s.

“This level of FSR is assigned to insurers who possess exceptional financial stability related to maintaining positive surplus as regards policyholders, liquidity of invested assets, an acceptable level of financial leverage, reasonable loss and loss adjustment expense reserves and realistic pricing,” said a statement from Demotech.
