Randall & Quilter purchases Capstan Insurance Company
Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings has completed the acquisition of Capstan Insurance Company (Capstan), a Guernsey-domiciled captive insurer.
Capstan will be Randall & Quilter’s fourth captive purchase this year.
Commenting on the takeover, Ken Randall, chairman and CEO of Randall & Quilter, said: “The acquisition of Capstan is further evidence of the increasing level of acquisition activity we are seeing as a group.”
“It also continues to demonstrate our ability to provide attractive exit solutions for captive owner who have put their captives in run-off or are contemplating ceasing writing new business,” added Randall.
