The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) raises US$35,000 for its Educational Scholarship Fund at its 2026 black-tie gala and scholarship fundraiser, held on 12 September at the Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa.
The fund has awarded more than US$5 million in scholarships and supported over 90 Caymanian students since it was established in 1994. IMAC says the money raised will go towards helping Caymanian students pursue higher education abroad.
RSM Cayman returned as title sponsor of the gala and has confirmed a renewed three-year sponsorship commitment. Additional sponsorship came from Artex Risk Solutions, Campbells and Honigman.
James Trundle, chair of IMAC, says: "The continued generosity of our industry and wider community is what makes initiatives like the IMAC Educational Scholarship Fund possible."
A former IMAC scholarship recipient, Vanessa Burke, gave the featured address, speaking about the part the fund played in her education and professional development.
IMAC represents the international insurance industry in the Cayman Islands and liaises with government and the regulator on the industry’s behalf.
