AXA Investment Managers has appointment Marc Belbenoit-Avich and Robin Chiche to its insurance-linked securities (ILS) team.
Belbenoit-Avich, who starts his role in October, will join as a senior portfolio manager and Chiche will take on the role of quantitative analyst, effective December.
The duo will be based in Paid and report to Francois Divet, head of ILS for AXA Investment Managers.
Divet said: “ILS is uncorrelated with traditional asset classes and given ongoing market volatility we continue to see significant client demand as it provides important diversification for their portfolios.”

Belbenoit-Avich joins from Swiss Re, where he served as property treaty underwriter and Chiche arrives from AXA Global Property & Casualty (P&C), where he spent three years as a P&C reinsurance actuary.
Divet added: “Their backgrounds will support and strengthen the existing team but also bring a fresh perspective. We look forward to working closely with them to achieve our growth ambitions.”
