NAIC elects 2015 officers

Members of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) have elected the association’s officers for 2015. They will assume their roles on 1 January next year.

Monica Lindeen has been elected to the role of president, while Sharon Clark will act as the NAIC’s vice president.

Michael Consedine will be the new president-elect, and Ted Nickel has been elected to the position of secretary-treasurer.

Montana commissioner of securities and insurance Lindeen takes over from Adam Hamm. Nickel is the only new addition to the NAIC’s leadership, with Lindeen, Consedine and Clark having previously served as president-elect, vice president and secretary-treasurer respectively.

President-elect Consedine is Pennsylvania’s insurance commissioner. Clark is leads Kentucky’s insurance department, while Nickel heads up insurance in Wisconsin.
