Madison Risk Group, LLC (MRG) has opened a new risk management training centre, the MRG Academy, located at its headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
The academy will serve as a training centre for risk management topics affecting mid-Atlantic region construction companies, including captive insurance education for business owners.
The academy will also offer risk management training to all levels of employees at construction and development firms in the area—from owners and upper management to field personnel.
Ron Ebert, president of MRG, commented: “These firms are already aware of the impact insurance premiums and possible uncovered losses have on their bottom line. We want to educate the clients on the behind the scenes factors that drive the true cost of risk.”
“The topics will range from how to control losses on the job and in the bid room to how to put a captive insurance program in place. All of the topics will be intended to strengthen the balance sheet for contractors."
